Escape

It's funny how people say music can take you places, places you've never been, places you have been, maybe even places you will be.

Every now and then there comes along a song or two that can do that to you even if you're not focusing on "escaping" so to speak. Many people claim that their favourite bands allow them to experience this (especially those saddening people and their emo bands!), but I believe that it's most often the ambient genres that let us out of our corporeal confines and... explore.

When I heard this song, I was in the midst of searching for ambient music for a game I'm helping to create. This song doesn't fit in with what I was looking for, but I was glad that I stopped to listen to it all the same.

Mental images vary from person to person, but mine was of walking down a pleasant, carved stone hallway that was very blue. Not sad, but the colour, blue. Overall this is a very nicely made track, keep up the good work!

Reminds Me

The reminds me of cave-crawling back in Oblivion, the beginning of the track sounds similar to the music played when inside caves and tunnels. Very nicely done. :)

I guess it does sound like that doesn't it? Now you've made me want to go play Oblivion again after I'm done with Fallout 3 >.> *Shakes Fist*
